Privacy Policy for SAN Biometric Roste

SAN Solution (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built the SAN BR app as a companion application for SAN biometric fingerprint devices. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles user information.

Information We Collect

SAN Biometric Roster does not collect, store, share, or transmit personal data to external servers.

The app operates locally on your Android device and communicates directly with compatible SAN biometric devices using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Permissions Used

Bluetooth Permission

The app uses Bluetooth to:

  • Scan for nearby SAN biometric devices
  • Connect and communicate with supported devices
  • Manage fingerprint enrollment and device settings

Location Permission

Android requires location permission for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning.
The app does not track, collect, or store your location data.

Fingerprint Data

Fingerprint enrollment and management are performed directly on the connected SAN biometric device.

The app:

  • Does not store fingerprint images or biometric templates on the phone
  • Does not upload biometric data to any server or cloud service
  • Does not share biometric information with third parties

All biometric processing and storage are handled within the SAN biometric hardware device itself.

Data Sharing

We do not:

  • Sell user data
  • Share user data with third parties
  • Use analytics or advertising services
  • Store data on cloud servers

Third-Party Services

SAN Biometric Roster does not use:

  • Advertising SDKs
  • Analytics tools
  • Tracking services

Data Security

The app communicates directly with SAN biometric devices over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). We take reasonable measures to maintain secure communication between the mobile application and supported devices.

Children’s Privacy

This application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
